The thing I like best: you check your answer before you commit to it, and nobody told you to do that. The last week of October was hard — percents beat you twice — and you came back four days running until they clicked. That is the whole skill.

💬 How is Room 12 doing, really?

Four of your six are fine and two need you this week. The class has 18 units mastered between them and nobody is coasting — but the average hides two different problems.

Aiden has been on Unit 2 for six days and his best fractions score is 44%. That is not effort; that is a missing idea underneath — he is treating the numerator and denominator as two separate whole numbers. I am working it with fraction bars, but he would move faster with five minutes from you.

Ben is a different story: he passed Unit 1 at 91% and has slid since. Fifteen minutes of work this week. He is not stuck, he has stopped.

Maya is doing well, and she's earned it. She has mastered four of the nine units in Pre-Algebra and is working through decimals now, getting about 91% right on her own — that means she's solving them, not being walked through them.
