A math tutor who teaches out loud, one step at a time.

He teaches the whole course — not just tonight's homework. He builds the plan around your student, encourages them through every step, and keeps track of it all so you can see how it is going.

A real lesson, not a video: pick a level and he teaches it. No card, no account.

Why families choose Mr. Cadabra's Classroom

Not a homework-answer machine. An AI trained to teach.

Photo-solvers and chatbots give the answer and move on. Mr. Cadabra's Classroom is a high-level AI trained to do what the best tutors do — ask the next question, wait, and show the work.

A whiteboard that keeps pace

The board draws each step in sync with the conversation and never jumps ahead to the answer your student is still working out.

?

Foundation first, not spoon-fed

Mr. Cadabra guides with questions and hints, praises real effort, and catches the common misconceptions for each topic.

Placement to mastery

A one-time check places your student at the right spot — a 9th grader can brush up on fractions without ever seeing "3rd grade."

An honest dashboard

See real progress by unit — what's mastered, what needs work — measured by actual scored checks, not vanity numbers.

Your own personal tutor

A tutor who plans the course — and reports back to you.

Apps drill problems. A personal tutor builds a plan, adjusts it every session, and keeps the parent in the loop. That's what the AI behind Mr. Cadabra does — for every student, in every course.

🗺

A plan built around your student

Placement finds their true level; the tutor builds a foundation-first path from it and re-plans after every scored check. The dashboard always shows the plan — what to strengthen next, and why.

💬

Feedback at every step

Encouragement in the moment, hints before answers, misconceptions caught as they happen — plus badges and trophies for real effort. Students can even ask "How am I doing?" and get a warm, honest answer.

Reports written for parents

On your dashboard, "How is my student doing, really?" answers in plain English — real progress and honest engagement, not vanity numbers. A weekly progress email with the same analytical summary lands every Friday.

How it works

Four simple steps

1

Place

A short, friendly check finds exactly where your student is — no guessing, no starting from scratch.

2

Learn

Mr. Cadabra explains each step out loud in a warm voice and draws it on the board. Your student answers by talking with him — a real conversation. (The youngest students get big answer buttons too, and anyone can type instead.)

3

Practice

Guided practice problems with hints — plus short, no-hint "checks" that measure real understanding.

4

Master

Units turn gold on the dashboard as they're mastered, so you always know what's next.

Built for families

Built kid-safe from day one.

You hold the account, your student just holds a login code — and when they talk with Mr. Cadabra, their voice is transcribed and the audio deleted on the spot. Nothing is stored, nothing is kept. Simple and easy to trust.

We never sell student data

Not to advertisers, not to anyone. No targeted ads. No profiles for marketing.

Parents hold the keys

Parent-created accounts and consent, a clear privacy policy, and delete-my-data on request.

Voice audio never stored

They talk, he answers. Speech becomes text and the audio is deleted immediately — no recordings, ever. Prefer quiet? Typing always works.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is this just ChatGPT that solves the homework?

No. Mr. Cadabra's Classroom is built to teach, not to hand over answers. It runs on Anthropic's Claude — a high-end reasoning model (currently Claude Sonnet 5) — but the difference is everything built around it: a foundation-first approach that teaches each idea and its vocabulary before asking about it, a whiteboard that draws each step and never runs ahead of your student, and complete placement-to-mastery courses. The goal is understanding, not a copied answer.

How do I know the math is actually right?

Every problem and answer Mr. Cadabra states is double-checked by a separate math engine — real symbolic math software, not another AI — before your student ever sees it. If a check fails, the reply is silently corrected first. Progress numbers work the same way: dashboards only ever show real, scored work.

Does my student need a microphone?

A microphone makes it best — your student simply talks with Mr. Cadabra, back and forth, like a real tutoring session. Their speech is turned into text and the audio is deleted immediately — we never store or keep recordings of your student's voice. No mic, or need it quiet? They can type instead any time, and the youngest students (grades 1–6) also get big answer buttons to tap.

What ages and levels is it for?

Ten complete courses, from a first-grader's first numbers to college math: Entry-Level Math (grades 1–3), Basic Math (grades 4–6), Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trig / Pre-Calculus, Probability & Statistics, Calculus, and Differential Equations. A placement check puts each student exactly where they belong, and they can move between courses anytime.

Will it chat about things besides math?

No. Mr. Cadabra is a math tutor and only a math tutor — ask him about video games, other homework, or anything off-topic and he'll kindly steer straight back to the math. Those guardrails are permanent and can't be talked around, which is exactly how a tutor for students should behave.

How do you handle my student's data?

Parents create and control the account, and we ask for as little as possible — a first name or even just a nickname is all a student needs. We never sell student data or use it for advertising; when your student talks with the tutor their voice is transcribed to text and the audio is deleted immediately — recordings are never stored — and you can request deletion of your data at any time. See the Parents & Privacy page for specifics.

What does it cost?

There's a free plan (no card needed): the placement check, a full first unit with Mr. Cadabra, and unlimited practice and topic help. Full access — every course, placement to mastery — is $29/month, and one plan covers up to two students ($24/month billed annually). Cancel anytime. See the Pricing page for details.

What devices does it work on?

Any modern browser — Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPad, or Android tablet. Nothing to install, and a student's login is just their code. Turn the sound on: his voice is half the charm.

Can I use this for more than one student, or a co-op?

Yes. One family plan covers up to two students — the second student is free — and each student gets their own login code, tutor, and dashboard. For classrooms, microschools, and co-ops, the teacher dashboard adds a roster and a class mastery heatmap; free pilots are running this term.
